This page is a draft and may be updated as our practices and legal review are finalized.
What This Covers
The City Hub ("we," "us") is operated by The Amey Group LLC. This policy explains what information we collect from churches, their staff, and the individuals those churches reach through our platform, and how we use it.
Information We Collect
From you (the church account holder): Church name, address, pastor name, contact email and phone, attendance/serving/outreach numbers you log, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details directly).
About people your church reaches (submitted via Connect Cards, check-in, or your team): Name, phone number, email, address, how they found your church, prayer requests and praise reports where voluntarily submitted, and attendance/check-in history.
Automatically collected: Basic technical data (IP address, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
Sensitive Information — Prayer Requests
Prayer and praise requests submitted through a Connect Card are treated as confidential pastoral information. They are visible only to the church's own team (pastor, liaison) and to Michael Amey in his role as your Fractional Outreach Director. They are never shared outside your church's own account, never used for marketing, and never sold.
How We Use Information
- To run the platform: territory mapping, attendance tracking, automated reports, and outreach follow-up
- To send SMS and email on your church's behalf, through GoHighLevel, only to people who have provided consent at the point of collection
- To provide coaching — Michael Amey may view your data to advise your team, as part of the Fractional Outreach Director service
- To bill your subscription through Stripe
Text Messages (SMS)
If your church sends text messages through the platform, recipients must have given consent at the point their information was collected. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP. We do not sell phone numbers or use them for purposes outside what the recipient agreed to.
Third Parties We Share Data With
We don't sell your data. We do share it with the vendors that make the platform work: GoHighLevel (your outreach CRM, texting, and email system), Stripe (payment processing), Neon and Vercel (database and application hosting), and the U.S. Census Bureau and Google Places API — used only to pull public, aggregate population and church-count data for your territory map; we do not send your congregants' personal information to these services.
Children
The Hub is intended for use by church staff who are adults. Where a church logs aggregate household information (such as general age ranges for planning purposes), we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, you may request deletion of your church's data by contacting us; some information may be retained as required for financial recordkeeping.
Your Rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting michael@michaelameyglobal.com.
Changes to This Policy
We'll update this page if our practices change, and note the date at the top.
